We hope that God uses these updates to challenge you to do more for the cause of world missions

December 8th is the “holy day” when the vast majority of Catholics around the world seek forgiveness of sins through Mary.  This day is the celebration of the Immaculate Conception – a Catholic dogma that teaches that the virgin Mary was conceived and lived without sin.

One out of every ten people in Santiago, made the pilgrimage to a famous Catholic Church where the faithful begged Mary to forgive them of their sins.

Here you can see literally thousands of people walking the last 5 kilometers (3 miles) of the pilgrimage.  The custom is to walk this last piece barefooted to show your dedication.  Upon arriving to the last hundred yards, many finish the journey crawling.  Through their suffering, they hope that God will forgive their sins.

Pray that God will help us to reach these people with the gospel!
