Trip and Church Planting Class

As many of you know, we were back in the States for a short trip from December to early January. During that time, we helped Katie get settled in at the Our Generation Training Center (OGTC), spent some time with my mother- in-law, served at the Our Generation Summit, and attended a marriage retreat. Additionally, I preached in 13 churches across 6 states!

One of the highlights of our time in America was the opportunity I had to teach a church planting class at the OGTC. My week of classes was also Katie’s first week as a student. She laughingly said, “My first class at Bible college is with my dad. It looks like I can’t get away from him!” I’m excited about what the Lord is doing at the Training Center. COVID Creativity

Chile has reverted to nightly curfews and mandatory weekend quarantines, where everyone is confined to their homes. Lord willing, this will pass in February, and we will be able to return to regular, in-person services. Despite the challenges, the ministry continues moving forward! Under these new restrictions, Liberty Baptist in Santiago is hosting 3 simultaneous Zoom calls for our adults’, teens’, and children’s Sunday school classes. We also continue to hold outdoor midweek services. These unexpected outdoor services have actually allowed us to reach several who would have never entered our church doors under normal circumstances. God is working!

Prayer Requests

1. Tracy Paver and the Beil family will be moving to Chile in February. We will be helping them get set-up, settled, and started with language school.
2. Lori’s mother finished her chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Continue to pray as she regains strength.
