We hope that God uses these updates to challenge you to do more for the cause of world missions

Since our last report, our faithful supporters have generously given $15,500 to help us buy property for Liberty Baptist Church in Santiago, Chile! We are rejoicing at how God continues to use this church to reach new families with the gospel even during the continued COVID restrictions.

We need a total of $125,000 to purchase property for this growing church. God has already provided $74,406.05. We are asking God to lead us to the ideal property so that we can continue to preach the gospel and train men and women for ministry. Please pray and consider giving. All offerings can be sent to Vision Baptist Missions, PO Box 442, Alpharetta, GA 30009, Memo: Liberty Land Fund Chile.

Serving Churches in Chile

May was an exciting month with several opportunities to speak in different churches in Chile. I was invited to preach at a couples meeting, a family conference, a “Faithful Men’s Retreat” (pictured here), and a church’s 11th anniversary service. It is encouraging to see these churches, led by Chilean pastors, standing strong and reaching others with the gospel. These churches are fruit to your account! Thank you for faithfully praying and giving to make this ministry possible.

New Students at the Chile Training Center

May 31st marked the beginning of the 2nd trimester of 2021 at the Chile Training Center. Several new students have signed up to prepare for ministry! Our future church-planting efforts will be born out of these young students’ lives. Please pray for them and us! I will be teaching Baptist Distinctives and Spiritual Leadership this trimester, while Lori will be teaching a Home Administration class for the ladies.

Prayer Requests

  • The borders remain closed in Chile. We are also still under a curfew and total weekend quarantines. Thankfully, we can leave our homes freely from Monday-Friday. Please pray for the COVID situation in Chile.
  • Josue Moreno is one of the young preachers we are training for ministry. His father passed away in May due to complications from COVID. Please continue to pray for his family.
  • Katie, our daughter, will be taking a missions trip to Burkina Faso, Africa this month. Please pray for this trip.
