$30,000 by March – Parral Chile Church Plant

Two years ago, Carlos Fernandez moved from Liberty Baptist Church in Santiago to plant a Bible-preaching church in Parral, Chile. Since then, God has raised up a growing congregation of young believers! Carlos is discipling several families and training two men who are serving with him in several ministries.

In November, Carlos found a building that was recently put up for sale for only $60,000! This is an amazing price and anideal facility for this growing church. In December, by faith, we signed a contract to purchase this property in March 2022! God has allowed us to save up half the needed funds already, but we still need $30,000 by March. Please pray about giving! Any gift can be sent to Vision Baptist Missions, PO Box 442, Alpharetta, GA 30009, memo: Parral Chile Church Plant.

Ordaining a Pastor in Santiago

This past month, I was honored to officiate Mauricio Perez’s ordination service. In recent years, I have had the opportunity to be Mauricio’s pastor and one of his professors at the Chile Training Center, disciple him & his wife, serve with him on the pastoral team at Omega Baptist Church, and now, preach his ordination service! There are few joys like celebrating God’s grace at work in a young pastor and church on the mission fieldPraise the Lord! And thank you for praying and giving to help us multiply churches and pastors like this one.

10th Chile Training Center Graduation!

This year has presented multiple challenges, but God’s work in Chile continues moving forward! On December 18th, we celebrated our 10th graduating class at the Chile Training Center. In 2021, God allowed us to train 120 students from 16 different churches in 7 regions of Chile and three foreign countries! God has been too good!

This is a picture of the Chile Training Center’s 2021 graduates, teachers, and some current students. We look forward to how God will use them to continue to spread the gospel in Chile and beyond!
