Teen Camp and Pastors’ Retreat
The first week of February will definitely go down as one of the highlights of 2022. Over 100 young people gathered together for our first summer teen camp in two years. Several of our Chilean pastors and their wives taught the young men and women at the morning sessions. In the evenings, I had the opportunity to preach the message. During those 5 days, God answered our prayers! Three teens put their faith in Christ, and many others made important decisions to live for Jesus and His kingdom. Several are making plans now to enter the Chile Training Center to prepare for ministry! Continue to pray for them as they follow the Lord and grow in their local churches.
Down to the wire & God is providing! – Parral Chile Church Plant
At the time of sending this letter off to print, God has provided $22,966.66 over the past couple of months! Sending out church planters
Josué Moreno and his wife Alondra packed their bags and moved 13 hours south of Santiago to take over a church plant in Chiloe, Chile. We are honored to have the opportunity to send out another family from our church in Santiago! Josué recently graduated from the Chile Training Center and has been training for ministry at Liberty Baptist in Santiago. He will be the 13th pastor sent out from the Chile Training Center. God willing, we will send out more this year! Pray for them as they get settled and begin to serve in this needy area of Chile.
*Interesting fact about this couple: Lori and I met Alondra at our first church plant in 2006! I baptized her that same year. Now, Alondra’s being sent out with her husband to serve in a church plant that will continue to reach others!
