We had a very encouraging Winter Conference this past week, centered on the theme of Abide. Pastors Mauricio Pérez, Jorge Muñoz, and Jonathan Black of Southside Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN each preached from John 15—emphasizing that before bearing fruit, every believer must go through God’s necessary cleansing; that true fruitfulness comes only through abiding in and depending on Jesus; and that believers are called to remain faithful even in the face of trials and opposition. Pastor Black also taught two breakout sessions and preached the Saturday youth rally, along with Pastor John Moncada. We thank God for how He used His Word to strengthen and encourage the ministry here in Chile. Please pray that, as a result of this conference, many more will remain steadfast and grow in their faith in Jesus!
