Lori recently taught a two-day ladies’ conference in Iquique, a city in northern Chile near the Atacama desert, where she challenged women to grow and abide in Christ even in the midst of difficult seasons. Together with fellow missionary Tracy Paver, they were able to fellowship with and encourage women from four different churches.
This past weekend, Lori and I traveled south to the island of Chiloé, where we spent time with Pastor Sebastián Gallardo and the growing group of believers in Achao, discussing exciting next steps as their church plant continues to develop and strengthen. On Sunday, we joined Pastor Josué Moreno and his church family in Dalcahue for the inauguration of their newly rented building. For the past several years, they’ve been meeting in a community center for just a few hours on Sundays, but having their own rented space will now open the door for even more ministry opportunities throughout the week.
From north to south, it’s been exciting to see how the Lord is advancing the gospel across Chile. We are grateful for the privilege of serving here and seeing firsthand how God is building His church.
